storm-chaser / snack board aficionado / novice triathlete
Littlefoot Ventures represents a culmination of knowledge and experiences from Eva’s nearly 15 years as a food systems practitioner driving change on global agriculture and food issues within the foodservice, restaurant, and retail industries. Named as one of GreenBiz Top Women in Food for 2022, Eva also serves as President of the Board for the Upcycled Food Foundation.
As an Internationally recognized food expert, she speaks regularly at food and food tech conferences in the U.S and across the globe on food waste, climate, cause marketing, consumer and employee engagement, and agricultural labor policy issues, including moderating several panels at the ReFED Food Waste Summit. She recently designed the 10-year giving strategy for the Posner Foundation’s food portfolio, already resulting in $2.5M in grants and she was the lead strategist behind Hellmann’s national “Make Taste Not Waste Campaign,” which included two Superbowl commercials and philanthropic giving portfolio of over $1M in grants to local nonprofits.
Before creating Littlefoot, Eva was a founding team member and employee number one of ReFED, the leading non-profit dedicated to reducing U.S. food waste, serving in several roles including Director of Communications, then Director of Business Engagement & Programming. She was responsible for the wide distribution of the original ReFED Roadmap, which has had millions of impressions in the mainstream and trade media and continues to influence corporate strategies and policy agendas to this day.
Previous to ReFED, she worked at the World Economic Forum serving on the food and agriculture team. There, she supported multi-stakeholder partnerships in 12 countries across Southeast Asia, Africa, and South America to mobilize nearly $2B in investment through coordination and public-private partnerships amongst global food companies, heads of state, ministers of agriculture, and farmer organizations.
She is based in Boulder County, Colorado with her husband and two beautiful, goofy children.
